1. Micro Support Awards

Up to $150

Designed to help athletes reduce immediate financial barriers while continuing to train and compete.

Support may include:

• Competition entry fees

• Essential training gear or apparel

• Local event-related expenses

• Smaller immediate athletic needs

• Fundraising tools and guidance to help athletes build future support

Applications are reviewed monthly. The application deadline is the last Friday of each month, and applicants are typically notified by email during the first week of the following month. Please check your spam or junk folder for updates.

2. Athlete Development Awards

Up to $500

Designed to support meaningful opportunities that contribute to an athlete’s long-term growth and development.

Support may include:

• Training camps

• Seminars and clinics

• Intensive development programs

• Significant competition opportunities

• Equipment or travel directly related to athletic development

Athletes may also receive:

• Sponsor outreach guidance

• Fundraising strategies and planning

• Practical resources that help build long-term community support

• Tools that empower athletes to advocate for themselves throughout their athletic journey

Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Board of Directors based on demonstrated need, available funding, alignment with our mission, and potential community impact.

3. Featured Athlete Program

A selective partnership designed to support athletes beyond a single grant.

Featured Athletes may receive:

• Athlete spotlight stories and interviews

• Community fundraising campaigns

• Merchandise collaborations

• Affiliate and supporter codes

• Social media promotion and increased visibility

• Sponsor outreach guidance and networking opportunities

• Fundraising resources and practical tools that help build sustainable, long-term support

Featured Athlete partnerships are limited and based on alignment with the FeralFam mission, athlete commitment, community engagement, and available resources.

FeralFam Foundation supports committed athletes of all ages and backgrounds who are facing financial barriers to training, competition, camps, clinics, equipment, or other meaningful athletic development opportunities.

We focus on athletes who demonstrate dedication, character, and a desire to grow through sport. While each application is reviewed individually, our goal is simple: help athletes continue pursuing opportunities they might otherwise miss due to financial limitations.

Selections are made intentionally and with athlete dignity in mind.

Applications are reviewed based on factors such as financial need, commitment to their sport, the potential impact of the opportunity being requested, character, and alignment with the FeralFam Foundation mission. We look to support athletes who continue showing up in sport, in life, and for the people around them.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, FeralFam Foundation is committed to responsible stewardship of community-funded support. Supporters can contribute through the Back the Athlete section of our website. Donations help fund athlete development awards, competition entry fees, training opportunities, camps, essential gear, travel assistance, and other forms of direct athlete support.

Businesses and organizations can also partner with FeralFam through corporate sponsorships, event sponsorships, matching gifts, in-kind donations, product or service donations, gift cards, raffle or silent auction items, venue support, and volunteer involvement. These partnerships allow us to expand our impact while connecting community organizations with a meaningful mission.
